Does AI recommend your business in your city?
A local AI visibility check shows whether an assistant names your business when asked for the best provider in your trade and city. The free Automate Headaches Checkup shows dated answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity alongside your Google Business Profile checks.
What question does the checker ask?
“Best [your trade] in [your city], [your state]”
You can inspect what each assistant said and which businesses it named. The checker uses each assistant’s model, rather than your personal signed-in chat. City answers may be reused for up to seven days; the date is shown. An uncertain business-name match is marked for checking by hand.
A business mention is not a website citation
Naming your business shows that it appeared in that answer. It does not necessarily mean the assistant read or linked to your website. Inspect the answer for an actual link before treating it as a website citation. This is a snapshot of selected questions—not a complete measure of every AI search or your Google Maps ranking.
How can you improve your local online presence?
- Keep your real business name, trade, contact details and service area consistent on your website and public profiles.
- Publish clear service information and genuine local examples that answer customers’ questions.
- Earn honest customer reviews and maintain an accurate Google Business Profile.
- Keep useful public pages accessible to search crawlers. Crawl access allows discovery; it does not guarantee selection or citation.
No wording, page markup or AI file can guarantee a recommendation. Answers change with the question, date, model and user context.
What does the optional free report add?
When requested, the full report asks each assistant three times, checks your website’s title, description, main heading and business label, and includes up to 21 checks with a PDF. Eligible listings also receive a 49-point Google Maps grid around their map pin. It is usually ready in about 15 minutes; listings without a visible pin cannot receive the map-grid report.
